Graves' Disease, In Our Own Words

For the past six years we have seen the same questions regarding Graves' disease asked over and over again. We have answered the questions as they were asked and helped to educate patients, and the medical community on matters relating to Graves' Disease.

There are a number of books on thyroid disease on our recommended reading list and there are a few books on Graves' disease as well. But none we felt that were written by and for those with Graves' disease "In their own words" as it were. We have been compiling the questions, and answers we have been asked, and responded to for the past six years. Hoping one day to put them into a book format.

That day has happened! Jake George (On-line Facilitator and support group leader), and Nancy Patterson Ph.D. (Executive Director, National Graves' Disease Foundation), have joined forces to put the latest information on Graves' disease in our book in easy to understand language. We have also taken questions asked of us and put them in a chapter format by type of questions. Personal information was removed to protect privacy but the questions asked remained.
